De Young Properties is seeking a highly motivated New Home Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is your chance to join our award-winning team and play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Team. You will assist and guide De Young new on-line customers as their first point of contact. As a licensed Real Estate Agent, the Online Home Specialist manages our new customers, answering questions, and setting appointments with Sales Agents. This position provides training and support in Sales and Marketing and performs required administrative duties. The pay range for this full-time position is $16 - $24 per hour.

Job Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is knowledgeable to assist and guide De Young customers in selecting their new home from first visit through completed sale and move in follow-up. Provide customers with a quality experience by ensuring all required sales documents and reports are prepared timely and all deposits are properly managed to prevent any unnecessary delays in the real estate transaction.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Performs all Sales related administrative tasks including traffic number submissions; opening and closing models; market research; office paper stock and supplies; processing contracts; customer contacts and follow-up.
  • Customer Relations Management: Provides outstanding customer relations including registering guests; coordinating with De Young Mortgage; maintaining the Pipeline report; competing realtor presentations; respond immediately to prospects and perform follow up contacts and activities.
  • Sales Results: Meet or exceed all sales goals; self-generated traffic and referrals; perform and submit sales analysis; maintain a strong Sales oriented attitude and adhere to all company sales processes.
  • Continuing Education: Attends weekly coaching meetings, sales meetings; participates in team and individual projects; maintain competence in understanding and presenting the De Young features to customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Accounting software and Database software.

Certificates and Licenses:

Current California Real Estate Sales License; Valid California Driver’s License
